Efficiency and Productivity Analysis

Did you know that from as early as 1979, the Army Corps of Engineers formally recognized that costs stemming from lost labor productivity on change order work must be considered and priced on all contract changes?  Lost labor productivity can easily account for up to 50% of your actual labor costs associated with a contract change.   Why then is lost productivity rarely included in cost proposals?  The answer is simple:  these costs can be difficult to quantify, and few have the required expertise and credentials to do so.  CCSI does have such expertise and can quantify the impact of lost productivity on contract changes and include those costs in your change order proposals.  Even better, lost productivity cost proposals prepared by a third-party are typically 100% reimbursable as a part of the contract change.
