Time Impact Analysis (TIA) Preparation

Government specifications require a time impact analysis (TIA) to be provided with each change that delays project completion.  When TIAs are prepared concurrently with monthly schedule updates, a prospective (forward looking) TIA analysis can be prepared easily and quickly.  Prospective TIA costs are minimal and allow for maximum flexibility in mitigating and/or eliminating the delay entirely.  When TIAs are not prepared as delays are encountered, a retrospective TIA approach (after the fact) is needed but is often complicated by multiple extensive overlapping delays which can obscure the driving delay and the party responsible.  CCSI can provide both prospective and retrospective analysis to help put your project back on track and in a position to recover both lost time and time related costs.  Even better, TIA preparation, when performed by a third-party consultant or subcontractor as part of a Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA) or in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP) are typically fully reimbursable as part of your change order costs.
