REA/Change Order Preparation

Change order proposal preparation is commonly performed by the project manager and/or the project engineer with various levels of expertise and always with less time than needed to prepare a proper proposal.  Typically, only direct costs associated with the work are recovered, but what about time and time related costs such as extended field office overhead, extended home office overhead, labor and material cost escalation, efficiency and lost productivity costs, cumulative impacts and impacts to the unchanged work?  CCSI-prepared proposals allow you to recover all the allowable costs associated with change order work, regardless of the change being initiated by an unsolicited proposal (REA) or a request for proposal (RFP) from the government.  This not only allows you maximum recovery on change orders but frees up valuable time to allow your project staff to focus on the project.  Even better, proposals prepared by a third-party consultant or subcontractor are typically 100% reimbursable and can be included in the proposal itself.
